We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our healthcare team. The medical laboratory technician will perform routine laboratory tests and procedures to help physicians diagnose, treat, and prevent disease. This role requires precision, adherence to safety protocols, and a commitment to delivering accurate and timely results.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Collect, prepare, and analyze biological specimens (blood, urine, tissue, etc.)
+ Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments
+ Perform tests in areas such as hematology, microbiology, immunology, and chemistry
+ Record and report test results accurately and promptly
+ Ensure compliance with laboratory policies, procedures, and regulatory standards (e.g., CLIA, OSHA)
+ Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed
+ Participate in quality control and quality assurance programs
+ Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support patient care
Qualifications:
+ Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field
+ Certification by ASCP (MLT, MLS, etc.)
+ Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
+ Excellent communication and organizational skills
+ Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS)
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
