Job Title: Paint Booth Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Paint Booth Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining paint booth equipment to ensure high-quality finishes on automotive parts.

Responsibilities

+ Operate paint booth equipment to apply coatings

+ Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, masking, and sanding as needed.

+ Mix and apply paint according to specifications and safety standards.

+ Inspect finished products for quality and consistency.

+ Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including booth and equipment.

+ Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

+ Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of paint booth systems.

+ Record production data and report any issues to production management.

Essential Skills

+ Ability to stand for the entirety of the shift as needed.

+ Must be able to lift 10lbs regularly, 25lbs frequently, and 50lbs occasionally.

+ Previous experience in industrial painting

+ Familiarity with paint booth operations and safety procedures.

+ Ability to read and interpret work orders and technical documents.

Work Environment

The work environment is bright and organized. The facility is not air-conditioned, which can make it hot near the machines in summer. Safety glasses and closed-toed shoes are required, and gloves will be provided in some areas. The position is for the 2nd shift, from 2pm to 10:30pm, Monday to Friday, with overtime sometimes required on weekends. Expect approximately 50 hours per week.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Greencastle, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $40560.00/yr.

10 days vacation 5 sicks days (have use 5 of the days for the end of year shut down)

Have a 2 week shut down in July

Amazing Benefits:

Single- $7.50 a week for health, dental, and vision

Family- $25 a week for health , dental, and vision
