    Job Title: Brazer

    Job Description

    The Brazer will work in the Reefer Assembly Department, responsible for reading blueprints and symbols to execute brazing for copper tubing. This role involves assembling and installing refrigeration system components such as compressors, motors, blowers, fans, coils, electric components, and associated wiring.

     

    Shift and Pay

     

    The work schedule is Monday to Thursday, 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with optional hours on Friday.

     

    Pay: $21.57/hr

    Responsibilities

    + Assemble and install refrigeration system components including compressors, motors, blowers, fans, coils, and electric components.

    + Apply caulk, foam, and Sikaflex as necessary to assemblies.

    + Perform brazing of components during assembly.

    + Maintain high levels of workplace organization.

    + Complete unit traveler paperwork accurately.

    + Collaborate with the Supervisor and others to develop work instructions and procedures.

    + Meet and report on customers' product quality requirements.

    + Strictly adhere to the Quality manual, safety standards, corporate policies, and procedures.

    + Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

    + Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

    Essential Skills

    + 1+ years of brazing experience (Copper to Copper or Copper to Mixed Metals).

    + Proficiency in mechanical assembly.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is a newly built, clean, and climate-controlled manufacturing facility. It spans 54,000 square feet, with newly painted floors, walls, and ceilings. A new testing room, management offices, and welding and fabrication areas are planned. The facility uses electric standups and forklifts to maintain cleanliness and overhead LED lighting for energy efficiency. Wireless connectivity provides real-time access to drawings.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $21.52 - $21.52/hr.
