Position Description:
The Logistics & Operations Lead is responsible for coordinating and supporting logistics activities including receiving, warehousing, and shipping to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of customer orders. This role serves as a technical resource and process leader within the Logistics team, driving efficiency, accuracy, and continuous improvement across operations without direct supervisory responsibilities. The Lead collaborates closely with Quality, Sales, Customer Service, Purchasing, Inventory, Technical Services, and Management to meet company standards and achieve customer satisfaction.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Coordinate daily logistics activities including order processing, receiving, warehousing, and shipping.
+ Act as the primary point of contact for escalations or process questions within the logistics team.
+ Ensure workflow adherence to established procedures, policies, and safety standards.
+ Provide operational support to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
+ Identify and recommend process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency.
+ Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and cross functional projects.
+ Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with documentation requirements.
+ Support inventory management activities including cycle counts, inventory adjustments, and reconciliation efforts.
Partner with management to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
+ Work with Quality to ensure verification processes for incoming and outgoing products.
+ Collaborate with Customer Service and Purchasing to resolve issues impacting customer orders or product availability.
+ Communicate effectively with all internal departments to ensure operational alignment.
+ Provide on the job guidance and serve as a technical resource for operations logistics team members.
+ Assist with onboarding and cross training of new employees as directed by management.
+ Order supplies and assist with maintaining equipment as needed.
+ Participate in special projects or assignments as requested by management.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
+ In depth understanding of warehouse and logistics operations.
+ Strong communication and problem solving skills.
+ Ability to lead by example and support team performance through influence and expertise.
+ Proficiency with business management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
+ Ability to work effectively with management and cross functional teams.
+ Knowledge of RF coaxial interconnect products preferred.

Education and/or Experience:
+ A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory capacity
+ High school diploma or equivalent preferred
+ APICS certification, preferred
+ Six Sigma Lean Green/Yellow/White Belt, preferred
Reports To: Operations Manager
Physical Job Requirements
This position is primarily performed in a warehouse and office environment and involves periods of computer use, data entry, and seated work. The role also requires regular mobility within the workplace, including movement between office areas, shipping and receiving zones, and inventory storage locations to fulfill essential functions. Sufficient visual acuity is required to read reports, system dashboards, spreadsheets, and shipping documentation. The position requires occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods during daily logistics activities. Occasional travel may be required
