Job Title: Industrial Sewer

Type: Contract-to-Hire

Compensation: $21 hourly

Contractor Work Model: Onsite

Hours: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm EST

Overview

We’re seeking an experienced Industrial Sewer to sew, cut, and assemble synthetic fabrics according to specifications. This role involves pattern layout, material preparation, and quality inspection.

Key Responsibilities

+ Sew, cut, and layout synthetic fabrics per pattern requirements

+ Use double-needle sewing machines and follow match marks for alignment

+ Fold, stretch, or trim materials for proper fit and finish

+ Verify materials and patterns match job tickets

+ Perform final inspection and quality checks

+ Lift and pack fabric rolls for shipping

Qualifications

+ Experience operating double-needle sewing machines

+ Skilled in fabric layout and cutting to pattern or cut-sheet specs

+ Ability to read blueprints and use rulers/fractions accurately

+ Able to lift heavy fabric bolts and work onsite Monday–Friday
