Systems Engineer, Lead

You Have:

+ 5+ years of experience practicing and executing systems engineering processes

+ 5+ years of experience working on a space Major Defense Acquisition Program

+ 2+ years of experience working with network or data systems in the DoD or IC

+ Experience with stakeholder management and requirements derivation, establishing and creating technical specifications, interface control documents, integration plans and schedules, and inter-service support agreements

+ Ability to comprehend complex problems where capabilities are affected by achievability, affordability, and scheduling

+ Ability to communicate and establish collaborative relationships with government clients, Federally Funded Research and Developmental Centers (FFRDC), and associate contractor teammates to achieve program goals

+ Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

+ TS/SCI clearance

+ Bachelor's degree in an Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics field

Nice If You Have:

+ 7+ years of experience practicing and executing systems engineering processes

+ 7+ years of experience working on a space Major Defense Acquisition Program

+ Experience with designing and creating network and data architecture recommendations for enterprise systems

+ Knowledge of systems engineering standards, including IEEE 15288.1 and IEEE 15288.2

+ Knowledge of DoD 5000.01/02

+ Knowledge of Agile Methodologies

+ Ability to be highly motivated with a dynamic work ethic to contribute to the DoD mission

+ Possession of strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

+ Master's degree in an Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics field

+ INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certification

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
