Job Description
One of Insight Global's clients is looking to hire for an HVAC Service Manager to manage a large service department in the greater National Capital Region (DC/MD/VA/WV/DE). This individual will be responsible for overseeing a team of 18 technicians that service equipment commercial and mission critical buildings in the region. This individual will be responsible for training and development of the staff in addition to providing technical support in field operations. Additionally, they will work on scheduling, communicating with dispatch, safety protocols and audits for service orders. This will be based out of Alexandria, VA and will be onsite 4 days per week with some travel expectations - company vehicle will be provided.

Skills and Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in HVAC service operations; no stationary engineering.
- In depth knowledge of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems (cooling towers, boilers, chillers, air handler units, etc.)
- Must hold a Universal CFC or other professionally recognized HVAC/refrigeration certification
- Strong leadership abilities and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to obtain a US government clearance
- Clean driving record and able to pass a background check
- Computer savvy; able to learn new software and CMMS platforms - Masters or Journeyman HVAC license
