Our client, University of Michigan, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join their dedicated clinical healthcare team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be an essential part of supporting patient care and medication management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to healthcare excellence, which will align successfully within the organization.
**Job Title:** Pharmacy Technician
**Location:** Ann Arbor, MI
**Pay Rate:** $20.00/hr.
**Shift:** Monday-Friday; 9:00am-5:00pm
What's the Job?
+ Preparing medications for patients who are picking up prescriptions
+ Entering pharmacy orders into MiChart system for recordkeeping
+ Dispensing medications using automated equipment
+ Measuring, mixing, and labeling medications accurately
+ Recording amounts and dosages of medications as required
What's Needed?
+ Minimum of 2 years of Pharmacy Technician experience
+ Preferred but not required Licensed Pharm Tech in the state of Michigan
+ Experience with QS1 pharmacy system
+ Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
+ Minimum of 1 year customer service experience
+ Ability to comply with Michigan Medicine immunization requirements (MMR, TDaP, Varicella, Influenza, and TB)
