    Our client, a leading innovator in the augmented reality and virtual reality industry, is seeking a Technical Lead Software Development to join their team. As a Technical Lead Software Development, you will be part of the AR/VR hardware development department supporting cutting-edge hardware prototyping and software integration. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Technical Lead Software Development

    **Location:** Redmond, WA (On-site)

    **Pay Range:** $85

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Lead a small cross-functional team of engineers and technicians to develop innovative AR/VR hardware software tools.

    + Design and implement calibration and data collection software using C++ and Python to support hardware prototyping.

    + Guide daily engineering tasks, conduct code reviews, and mentor team members to ensure high-quality deliverables.

    + Collaborate with hardware and manufacturing teams for seamless system integration.

    + Create detailed software specifications, documentation, and testing protocols to ensure reliability and performance.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or a related field.

    + 5–7 years of hands-on software development experience, with at least 2 years in team or project leadership roles.

    + Strong proficiency in C++, Python, and software design principles.

    + Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

    + Experience with AR/VR hardware, motion capture, robotic platforms, or related fields is highly preferred.
