    Position Summary

    This position is responsible for purchasing raw materials and supply continuity for the catheter/pump product families for the Chelmsford facility.

    Principal Responsibilities

    • Key objectives include achieving, improving, and exceeding targeted customer service levels, managing inventory levels and targets, and managing supply and demand within the Global Supply Chain

    • Plan and execute purchasing of raw materials from domestic and international suppliers

    • Download open requisition reports from SAP and place purchase orders accordingly

    • Review open PO and past due PO reports to ensure materials coverage required for production

    • Review MRP exception messages; ensuring alignment of supply to changing forecast demands

    • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal customers and external suppliers

    • Proactively report product and material availability issues at tier/standup meetings

    • Identify opportunities to drive value-add programs: Kanban, Quick Ship, large impact, and Lead-time reduction initiatives

    • Analyze and manage MRP, source list, material master/parameters

    • Revise master data in essential systems to ensure the MRP system is effectively planning future requirements

    • Inventory Management: Support reporting, inventory parameters, safety stock target product life cycle management

    • Maintains purchase order status and shipment tracking information in SAP

    • Provide support to various internal customers, as required

    • Complete special projects and assignments as requested

    Education / Experience Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

    • 5-7 years’ experience in a procurement role

    • SAP experience preferred

    • Strong communication and attention to details

    Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

    • ERP System experience, preferably SAP

    • Excel Skills

    • Strong verbal/written communication skills

     

    The pay range for this position at the commencement of employment is expected to be between $82,600.00 and $123,900.00; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will also include benefits such as medical, prescription drug, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, participation in 401(k) savings plan, and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO, short- and long-term disability, and parental leave, dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
