Job Description
Join a leading developer, manufacturer, and supplier of class-defining cell and gene therapy bioproduction tools and services as a Cleanroom Manufacturing Operator. You will engage with daily aseptic production processes, ensuring the health and viability of biologic materials during manufacturing, storage, and distribution.
Responsibilities
+ Routine processes of quality control, manufacturing, aseptic filling, and packaging of Quality System regulated compliant media products.
+ Work inside cleanroom suites for extended periods.
+ Perform environmental monitoring and aseptic filling into finished product containers under sterile conditions.
+ + Check raw materials to ensure proper materials and quantities are used in batches.
+ Aseptically fill finished product containers under sterile conditions.
+ Clean equipment and classified cleanrooms, including ceilings, walls, surfaces, and floors.
+ Perform repetitive tasks while fully gowned in cleanroom attire.
+ Operate equipment such as balances, peristaltic pumps, filters, pH meters, and pipettes.
+ Follow SOPs, batch records, and safety policies in all tasks.
+ Accurately complete batch record documentation and GMP paperwork.
+ Complete batch record documentation and all appropriate logbook entries accurately.
+ Participate in process monitoring, improvement activities, and risk management.
+ Assist in process deviation investigations and contribute to process improvements.
+ Fully gowned (hood, mask, coveralls, boots, gloves, etc.).
Qualifications & Essential Skills
+ At least 1 year of relevant life sciences manufacturing, quality, or lab experience.
+ Familiarity and lab experience with aseptic processes in a cGMP/FDA regulated environment.
+ Self-motivated and willing to adapt to take on new responsibilities outside of normal duties.
+ No unusual sensitivity to typical laboratory chemicals (e.g., sanitization agents).
+ Capability to consistently perform fast-paced operations with accuracy.
+ Meet aseptic gowning qualification requirements and communicate effectively while wearing cleanroom gowning gowned.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ A bachelor's degree in a life science with aseptic/cleanroom experience can elevate candidates to a Level II role.
Work Environment
The role is based onsite in Indianapolis, primarily within a cleanroom setting that requires standard full gowning procedures. The position operates on a day shift schedule from 7am to 4pm, Monday through Friday, with reasonable flexibility as needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
