Role Summary
The Quality Manager ensures data integrity, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across all Quality Control operations upholding ISO-9001 and AS-9100 standards. This position will lead internal teams, manage key compliance processes, and support company profitability through operational efficiency and exceptional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the Quality Assurance and Export Compliance department, ensuring strict adherence to ISO-9001 and AS-9100 standards.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as customer complaints, late shipments, material discrepancies, and export documentation accuracy.
• Maintain and develop quality documentation including the Quality Manual, procedures, and work instructions.
• Prepare for and lead both internal and external audits, including Critical Safety Item (CSI) reviews and ISO/AS certification audits.
• Develop and track supplier performance metrics and oversee supplier quality issue resolution, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Oversee inspections and quality reviews related to Government Contracts and Government Source Inspections (GSI), coordinating efforts with the DCMA.
• Manage system changes affecting the Quality Management System (QMS) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct technical training on quality systems and export compliance for internal teams.
• Assist in export classifications (Schedule B, ECCN) and ensure compliance with AES filings, Certificates of Origin, and Export Summaries.
• Maintain and update the Export Management System in alignment with current U.S. regulations.
• Serve as a senior point of escalation for complex issues involving purchasing, shipping, warehousing, and receiving.

Qualifications & Requirements
• 5–8 years of experience in quality compliance and assurance, preferably in aerospace, defense, or government contracting sectors, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management position.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Quality Management or a relevant field from an accredited institution.
• Strong working knowledge of AS-9100, ISO-9001, FAR/DFARS, and U.S. Export Compliance regulations.
• Experience managing internal and external audits and maintaining compliance documentation.
• Proven ability to solve complex problems using critical thinking and industry best practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including technical writing and proofreading.
• Strong leadership and delegation skills with the ability to develop, mentor, and grow team members.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders.

Compensation & Benefits
• Salary Range: $100,000 – $140,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
