• Accessioning Technician

    Job Description

    As an Accessioning Technician, you will be responsible for receiving and processing laboratory samples for diagnostic purposes. You will accession clinical samples in the Laboratory Management System and manage any discrepancies that may arise. Additionally, you will report deviations to your supervisor and adhere to CLIA, CAP, HIPAA, OSHA, and related safety guidelines.

    Responsibilities

    + Receive and process laboratory samples.

    + Accession clinical samples in the Laboratory Management System.

    + Manage discrepancies in clinical samples.

    + Report deviations to the supervisor.

    + Follow CLIA, CAP, HIPAA, OSHA, and related safety guidelines.

    + Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    + High school diploma or GED required, Associate's or Bachelor's in scientific discipline preferred.

    + Previous medical or production experience.

    + Prior experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).

    Shift

    This is a Contract position based out of Waltham, Massachusetts. The shift for this opportunity is Tuesday - Saturday 9:00AM - 6:00PM.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waltham, MA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
