• Line Mechanic

    Aerotek (New Holland, PA)


    Manufacturing plant in New Holland, PA is looking for a 2nd shift Line Mechanic. Great leadership team with competitive benefits package offered upon hire. Plant Manager is ready move on the right candidate. Can start ASAP once onboarding and pre-screenings are completed.

     

    2nd shift: 3pm - 12am (additional overtime included)

     

    Pay Range: $25-32/hr DOE

    Responsibilities:

    + Maintain, install, and repair electrical/electromechanical and mechanical component systems for concrete masonry plant equipment.

    + Perform welding and fabrication tasks as needed.

    + Safely operate motor vehicles and mobile equipment, including man lifts, forklifts, and skid steers.

    + Plan work effectively and maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

    + Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment to minimize downtime.

    + Identify and report hazardous conditions to ensure safety for employees and contractors.

    + Collaborate with maintenance and manufacturing personnel to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

    + Quickly assess and address equipment breakdowns using diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

    Essential Skills

    + Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

    + Experience with preventative and corrective maintenance.

    + Proficiency in machine operation and hydraulic repair.

    + Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.

    + Thorough knowledge of electrical/electromechanical maintenance methods.

    + Ability to weld and fabricate components.

    + Skilled in the use of hand tools and testing equipment.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Holland, PA.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
