    Job Title: CNC Operator

    Job Description

    Join our team as a CNC Operator working with Haas CNC Milling Machines. You will be responsible for inserting material into the vise, running the machine, setting up machines, and troubleshooting any issues that arise. Additionally, you will deburr machine parts using small hand tools such as grinders, sanders, and metal filers. You will also measure and check parts using calipers and micrometers. The role requires comfort with standing for long periods and lifting up to 60 pounds.

    Responsibilities

    + Insert materials into the vise and run the CNC machine.

    + Perform machine setup and troubleshoot issues during operation.

    + Deburr machine parts using hand tools like grinders, sanders, and metal filers.

    + Measure and check parts using calipers and micrometers.

    + Work in long-run production settings.

    Essential Skills

    + 2+ years of CNC experience, preferably in a metal shop environment.

    + Ability to set up and operate CNC machines with troubleshooting skills.

    + Proficiency in reading a tape measure.

    + Capability to work in a fast-paced environment while being self-motivated.

    + Ability to lift 60 pounds on a semi-regular basis.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in CNC operations is a plus.

    Work Environment

     

    The work takes place in a well-organized manufacturing and warehouse environment. While steel-toed boots are recommended, they are not required. Expect a casual dress code with jeans and a t-shirt, as the work might get a little dirty. The schedule includes a half-hour lunch and two 15-minute breaks each day.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Hamel, MN.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
