Injection Molding Process Technician

Job Description
Join our dynamic team as an injection mold proces technician and play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. Work from Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional overtime on Fridays, typically a half-day.
Responsibilities
+ Change over, install, and set up thermal injection molds according to the production schedule.
+ Position, bolt, and clam molds into the press bed.
+ Connect lines and adjust heat and pressure settings.
+ Monitor initial production of molding machines to ensure parts meet specifications before handing over to operators.
+ Provide assistance to molding operators as needed.
+ Oversee operations of assigned molding equipment.
+ Check quality and availability of raw materials.
+ Verify quality of products from molds and ensure compliance with specifications.
+ Make machine adjustments or perform basic repairs when necessary.
+ Clean molds removed from production, blow out lines, and inspect for damage or wear.
+ Apply protective coatings, label, and store molds.
+ Maintain production and mold change-over records.
+ Operate molding machines as time permits.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with molding machines and injection molds.
+ Ability to perform tool changes and set up thermal injection molds.
+ Proficiency in connecting lines and regulating heat and pressure settings.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Attention to detail for verifying product specifications.
+ Ability to perform basic machine repairs.
+ Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Raleigh, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
