    Job Summary

    Responsible for conducting and coordinating distribution line training, procuring, inspecting and testing tools and equipment, conducting investigations and answering customer complaints.

    Job Description

    WHAT YOU'LL DO

    + **Assist with pre-checking jobs, customer contacts, work with stores, distribution crews and applicable supervision to secure and provide the necessary tools and equipment for the crew personnel.**

    + **Follow construction work from start to finish to stay within estimated costs and follow planned work dates.**

    + **Support technical training needs when requested and coordinate training with technical trainers if needed. Conduct distribution line training as needed.**

    + **Regularly complete job site observations.**

    + **Promote and enforce the Company's Accident Prevention, Safety and Health Programs, and assist line crews on jobs as required for work area protection and ground worker assistance.**

    + **Support service restoration activities and assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned.** **Some travel required to assist with Storm Restoration when needed. Must be available to work overtime when Storm Restoration is needed in the Fort Wayne area.**

    + **Investigate damage complaints and prepare reports detailing findings and make recommendations to resolve complaints.**

    + **The damage complaints may include but not be limited to: service quality, high or low voltage, landscape damage caused by company equipment or personnel, etc.**

    + **Inspect line work at completion of job. Must be able to read the designed job and construction map and identify standards that are not met.**

    Based on education, experience, interview evaluation and internal equity, this opportunity will be filled at either title. For this posting, minimum requirements are stated at the lower grade. Increased expectations are at the higher grade.

     

    Distribution Line Coordinator Minimum Requirements (Grade 6)

     

    Education requirements are listed below: High School Diploma or GED.

     

    Work Experience requirement listed below: Minimum of 5 years' experience in distribution line or distribution engineering, or equivalent related experience, including good working knowledge of distribution operations activities.

    Distribution Line Coordinator Sr Minimum Requirements (Grade 7):

    Education requirements are listed below: High school diploma or GED.

     

    Work Experience requirement listed below: Minimum of 7 years' experience in distribution line or distribution engineering, or equivalent related experience, including good working knowledge of distribution operations activities.

    OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

    Must possess interpersonal skills necessary to deal with internal and external customers in a professional manner.

    WHAT YOU'LL GET:

    **Distribution Line Coordinator (Grade 6):** Base Salary = $73,828 - $92,284

    **Distribution Line Coordinator Sr (Grade 7)** : Base Salary = $86,783-$108,480

    Compensation Range:

    $72,380.00-90,474.50 USD
