    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a skilled Versatile Technologist to join a prominent aerospace company located in Southern California. This role involves working directly with program teams to ensure IT infrastructure solutions align with program requirements and schedules. The ideal candidate will design, install, configure, troubleshoot, and support application servers, software, and related components while ensuring all infrastructure aligns with standard architectural objectives. Responsibilities include developing imaginative and thorough solutions to complex problems, collaborating with architects and technical specialists to determine appropriate hardware and software implementations, and planning, installing, and testing software upgrades and patches. The technologist will also support SQL Server and SharePoint administration—including backups, disaster recovery, security, performance tuning, incident and configuration management—and ensure systems meet production readiness and supportability standards. This position is 5 days a week on-site in El Segundo, CA.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    Active DoD Top Secret clearance

     

    1+ years of experience with SQL Server Install and Administration

    1+ years of experience with SharePoint Install and Administration

    • 1+ years of experience with Internet Information Services (IIS) Web server hosting .NET applications Comp TIA certificate or ability to obtain post-start

     

    3+ years of experience with ColdFusion including ColdFusion installation and administration

     

    3+ years of experience with SharePoint Administration

     

    3+ years of experience with configuration management
