    Overview

    **Compensation:** $18.00 - $25.00/Hour

    **Shift:** Monday - Friday it should be 7am- 4pm

    Position Summary

    The Industrial Painter is responsible for applying paint and protective coatings to various surfaces in industrial settings, ensuring high-quality finishes and compliance with safety standards. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in physically demanding environments.

    Responsibilities:

    + **Surface Preparation:** Clean and prepare surfaces by removing old coatings, applying primers, and ensuring surfaces are free of contaminants.

    + **Paint Application:** Apply paints, varnishes, and coatings using spray guns, brushes, and rollers.

    + **Mixing and Matching:** Select and mix paints to achieve desired colors and finishes per specifications.

    + **Quality Control:** Inspect work to ensure compliance with industry standards and make adjustments as needed.

    + **Safety Compliance:** Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and adherence to OSHA standards.

    + **Equipment Maintenance:** Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.

    + **Documentation:** Maintain accurate records of materials used, work completed, and safety checks.

    Skills and Qualifications:

    + **Technical Skills** : Proficiency in painting techniques and familiarity with tools such as airbrushes, rollers, and spray equipment is preferred.

    + **Attention to Detail** : Ability to deliver high-quality finishes and meet specifications.

    + **Physical Stamina** : Capable of working in high places, confined spaces, and performing physically demanding tasks.

    + **Problem-Solving** : Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues during the painting process.

    + **Education** : High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in industrial painting preferred.

    + **Career Experience** : While prior industrial painting experience is ideal, we welcome entry-level candidates with transferable skills from related fields such as construction, automotive refinishing, manufacturing, or facilities maintenance.

    Physical Demands

    + Standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs for extended periods.

    + Ability to work in environments with moderate to heavy noise levels and exposure to chemicals.

    Work Environment

    + Industrial settings, including confined spaces and elevated work areas.

    + Must comply with all ABM safety, security, and compliance standards.
