PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled **Facilities Technician** to support facility operations for one of our leading partners in Denver, Colorado. In this vital role, you’ll ensure the reliability, safety, and performance of building systems that keep daily operations running smoothly.
This is a **full-time, Monday–Friday position (8:00 AM–4:30 PM)** with **on-call responsibilities as needed (24/7)** .
What You’ll Do
As a Facilities Technician, you’ll perform a wide range of maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities across electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems. You’ll be the go-to expert ensuring facility systems run efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Conduct **preventive maintenance (PM)** on mechanical, electrical, and facility systems to prevent downtime and extend equipment life.
+ Perform **diagnostic and troubleshooting** work on complex systems—identifying and resolving electrical, HVAC, or plumbing issues promptly.
+ Maintain and repair **HVAC units** , refrigeration systems, motors, pumps, compressors, and power transmission components.
+ Repair or replace **plumbing fixtures** , valves, and drainage systems.
+ Execute **electrical repairs** , including wiring, switches, controls, and lighting systems.
+ Interpret and work from **technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics** .
+ Complete general building maintenance such as carpentry, drywall, and painting.
+ Ensure all work adheres to **safety protocols** (LOTO, PPE, confined space, etc.) and company compliance standards.
+ Document maintenance activities accurately using computerized maintenance systems (CMMS).
What You Bring
Required Skills & Experience:
+ Strong technical expertise in **electrical, HVAC/R, plumbing, and mechanical systems** .
+ Proven **troubleshooting and diagnostic** skills for complex system issues.
+ Ability to read and interpret **blueprints and schematics** .
+ Proficiency in the safe use of **hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment** .
+ Familiarity with **preventive maintenance procedures** and documentation.
+ Solid **communication and time management** skills.
+ **Computer literacy** for work order tracking and reporting.
+ Commitment to **safety and compliance** at all times.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ **EPA certification** for refrigerant handling.
+ **Lift and forklift certifications.**
+ Basic **welding or fabrication** experience a plus.
+ Experience using **CMMS** or digital maintenance tracking systems.

**Pay Details:** $31.25 per hour
