Position Summary:
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for partnering closely with Sales in a business development function to understand Sales objectives, set strategy, and oversee tactical execution of integrated, cross-channel marketing initiatives for Everon, a B2B commercial security, fire, and life safety organization.
Objectives include developing programs and customer-facing materials to support the Sales team’s goals, commercializing new solutions, partnering with vendor partners on joint-marketing initiatives, and working with the sales, product, and vertical teams to create a variety of marketing deliverables to increase awareness and grow market share.
The ideal candidate is passionate about supporting the Sales organization in their initiatives to increase RMR and IR sales, is excited to bring new ideas and perspectives, and is looking to bring their knowledge and expertise to the role and to make a meaningful impact for Everon.
Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Play a key role as part of the marketing team participating in discussions and projects that support the overall team goals including but not limited to:
+ Support the Sales organization through a strong partnership with Sales leaders and Sales reps at all levels to understand needs, and develop programs in support of sales efforts
+ Manage the development of product, solution, and vertical/industry sales tools/collateral including brochures, sell sheets, email content, social post templates, presentations, direct mail, videos, etc. and oversee the process from start to finish – to drive external awareness, sales effectiveness, and lead generation for each solution.
+ Collaborate with internal sales, vertical, products & solutions teams as well as external vendor partners to develop a robust marketing strategy to differentiate Everon and support sales growth
+ Help support tradeshow strategy to determine messaging, solutions displayed, and pre-and post-show activities to see the greatest ROI from events
+ Commercialize new product and solution offerings by managing an integrated marketing launch coordinating with sales, product and marketing team members
+ Grow share of wallet by marketing full/comprehensive Everon product/solution menu across existing customers for cross-sale opportunities
+ Effectively communicate sales tools and solution materials so they are accessible and well utilized by Sales organization – and collect feedback to ensure tools are delivering on the needs of the sales reps during customer conversations.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Marketing or related field
+ 5+ years experience in B2B marketing, preferably for a services organization
+ Security industry experience a plus

+ Strong writing skills with the ability to write customer-facing sales-focused content for promotions, collateral, ads, emails, etc.
+ Experience working effectively in cross-functional, remote teams to build comradery and deliver projects in a rapid paced environment.
+ Strong project management skills to execute numerous projects simultaneously with accountability for project deadlines
+ Successful track record building consensus and influencing stakeholders in order to implement strategy and achieve results
+ Ability to think strategically across all marketing initiatives to support overarching business objectives.
+ Candidate must have an entrepreneurial and self-starting mentality and be able to manage ambiguity
+ Capable of and willing to work independently. Seeks responsibilities and takes action without explicit instructions.
+ Excellent creative, communication and critical thinking skills
+ Ability to work before and after normal business hours as needed.
