Eaton’s Electrical division is currently seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to join our team in Raleigh, NC. The Production Supervisor will plan, coordinate, supervise and motivate the activities of all assigned employees on 2nd shift to meet or exceed safety, quality, delivery, cost and efficiency goals while assisting the Operations Manager in implementing plant wide initiatives.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $83,250 - $122,100 a year.

What you’ll do:
+ Provide direct supervision for all 2nd shift production employees.
+ Participate in employment and staffing decisions, performance management decisions.
+ Ability to communicate effectively with other departments and shifts.
+ Maintain departmental personnel records and reports on productivity, quality, and attendance.
+ Develop and implement schedules and manpower requirements to meet or exceed production plan.
+ Plans and prioritizes departmental as well as plant wide production schedules based on customer delivery dates, efficiencies, and material supplies.
+ Monitor departmental as well as plant wide productivity to ensure that established quality and production levels are maintained or exceeded.
+ Engage direct reports in manufacturing LEAN initiatives including but not limited to operator standard work, 5S, pull systems, empowered work teams, and structured problem solving.
+ Provide coaching, motivation, and counseling to employees to encourage optimum performance and continued skill development.
+ Develop employees within areas of responsibility to work as a team to accomplish goals as set forth by the company or location.
+ Implement and support behavioral based zero incident safety culture.
+ Fosters an environment that promotes Eaton’s goals, philosophies, and encourages continuous improvement.
+ Communicate company policies, procedures, and guidelines and ensure they are consistently practiced.
Basic (Required) Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing or operations environment in lieu of degree.
+ Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Manufacturing Operations or Engineering in a manufacturing environment.
+ Minimum 1 years of direct supervisory experience.
+ No relocation is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must reside within a 50-mile radius of Raleigh, NC. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area.

Preferred Qualifications:
+ Lean Manufacturing experience/certification
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
+ SAP experience

+ Good understanding and positive support of standard personnel and administrative policies, practices and legal requirements pertaining to business operations

+ Knowledge of manufacturing processes and systems and engineering processes.
