The Omni Charlottesville Hotel offers 208 beautifully appointed guestrooms and suites featuring panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, along with a full service restaurant and 12,000 square feet of meeting space. Job Description
The Omni Charlottesville Hotel is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented individual to join our Front Office team as a FT Night Auditor. The Night Auditor is responsible for reconciling all hotel cashier transactions; reviewing, organizing and compiling management reports on a timely basis and ensuring the accuracy of guest billings and city ledger transactions. In addition, this overnight position is also responsible for effectively communicating concerns and/or related issues to all levels of management and performing guest service agent duties as required, including check-in, check-out, switchboard operation and reservations.
Responsibilities
General job duties include, but not limited to...
+ Preparation of daily reports and distribution as directed.
+ Accurately completing all Night Audit tasks, such as balancing daily postings and revenue
+ Handling Express checkouts ensuring their completion.
+ Ensure adequate communication the following morning to all necessary departments by communicating through “Wrap-Up” emails.
+ Understanding of all front office standards and assist in solving deficiencies.
+ To be thoroughly acquainted with all check-in and check-out procedures and policies.
+ To be a main liaison between guest and the hotel
+ Be familiar with emergency procedures and Alarm System in the PBX department.
+ Be familiar with all hotel rate plans and rate codes, understanding rate strategy when making rate changes for guests
+ Be familiar with all hotel amenities and facilities
+ Be actively engaged with our guests. Identify the needs of our guests and meet these needs, aiming to exceed expectations at every opportunity.

+ Excellent customer service and problem solving skills
+ Strong communication, computer and organizational skills
+ A professional business appearance, attitude, and performance
+ Prior guest service experience - preferably hotel front office experience
+ The flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
+ Capable of working independently
+ Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours
+ Must be 18 years or older
