As a **Security Professional - Manufacturing Patrol** in **Columbus, IN** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure atmosphere. Your presence and routine patrols contribute to maintaining order while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to all individuals on site. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location, including both the business interior and perimeter.

+ Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry or suspicious activity.

+ Observe and report any unusual situations, hazards or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.

+ Communicate professionally with employees, visitors and contractors while maintaining a visible presence.

+ Follow post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.

+ Assist with emergency evacuations, drills and other site-specific protocols as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
