Job Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support for existing BAU (Business as Usual) SAS report issues and changes.
• Conduct discovery work and document existing procedures and processes.
• Decommission obsolete jobs and remediate critical batch jobs.
• Migrate and fully remediate all SAS-related jobs in mainframe environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth data operations and report generation.
• Support initiatives related to SAS modernization and migration projects (P-377801 AAO Migration 2025).
Must Have Skills:
• Mainframe SAS reporting experience.
• SAS programming (especially SAS Macros).
• COBOL and JCL proficiency.
• Strong debugging, performance tuning, and data analysis skills.
• Experience integrating SAS analytics with large-scale mainframe environments.
• 2–4 years of relevant technical experience.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Mainframe database experience (such as DB2).
Soft Skills:
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work with end users to identify and execute technical requirements.
• Self-starter with strong organization and project management skills.
Education / Certification:
• Experience in lieu of formal education accepted.
• No certifications required.
