Duties & Responsibilities:

Performs functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment. Works with engineers in conducting experiments.

+ Maintain inventory.

+ Excellent computer skills with some assembly and packaging.

+ Receive and maintain inventory using Oracle.

+ Issue material to production.

+ Perform cycle counts weekly on components and WIP inventory.

+ Assemble products utilizing small hand tools.

+ Perform testing on assemblies, accessing databases and loading software.

+ Perform final packaging and labeling of product for shipment.

+ Verifying all documents, labeling and inventory are correct for shipment.

Qualifications

+ GED/High School Diploma or equivalent

+ Preferred 2-4 years of relevant experience

+ This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by export laws of the U.S. To be eligible, you must be either a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

+ Has a clearance or is able to re-certify to work in environments that require a government security clearance.

+ Experience operating in an ISO Quality environment.

+ Preferred experience in:

+ High Vacuum coating.

+ Familiarity operating a spectrophotometer

+ Assembly experience with under microscope soldering, metrology

+ High Vacuum coating experience (Box/UCP)
