Job Description:

+ The Trust & Safety – Ads Personalization team helps protect users and advertisers by identifying, investigating, and preventing policy violations across ad ecosystem.

+ The team blends analytics, consulting, and investigative problem-solving to ensure the integrity and compliance of personalized ad experiences across products.

+ We’re seeking a data-driven analyst with strong SQL and analytical skills to identify abuse patterns, investigate anomalies, and design insights that inform policy enforcement.

+ This role combines hands-on data analysis with cross-functional collaboration across product, engineering, legal, and policy teams.

+ The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-changing environment, possess a consulting-style mindset, and demonstrate the ability to translate complex data into clear business narratives for executive and cross-functional stakeholders

Responsibilities:

+ Analyze large datasets to detect trends, anomalies, or signals of policy abuse across ad platforms.

+ Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources.

+ Conduct investigations into suspicious ad behavior or content by correlating data from multiple systems.

+ Build and maintain dashboards and reporting mechanisms to monitor new or emerging risks.

+ Partner with engineers, policy leads, and product managers to define metrics, develop mitigation strategies, and drive operational improvements.

+ Present findings to executive stakeholders, synthesizing complex analytical insights into actionable recommendations.

+ Learn and apply Trust & Safety policy frameworks to evaluate content across products.

+ Support ongoing and ad-hoc analyses during enforcement escalations and incident reviews.

Experience (Required):

+ 5+ years of experience in analytics, consulting, or technology fields.

+ Proven experience writing and troubleshooting SQL queries (minimum 2 years, advanced preferred).

+ Analytical problem solver with strong data instincts.

+ Confident communicator capable of simplifying complex issues for varied audiences.

+ Curious and adaptable learner who thrives in ambiguous or dynamic policy environments.

+ Balanced blend of technical rigor and business judgment.

+ Strong foundation in data analysis, hypothesis-driven problem solving, and investigative analytics.

Experience (Desired):

+ Experience with Python, R, or MATLAB for data manipulation and analysis.

+ Background in Trust & Safety, Policy Enforcement, or Risk Analytics within large tech or digital platforms.

+ Prior consulting experience (e.g., Deloitte, EY, Accenture, or similar) or internal analytics roles requiring stakeholder management and structured problem solving.

+ Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Data Studio.

Education:

+ **Bachelor’s degree** in a quantitative or analytical field (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline).
