Our client, a small family-owned integrator, is seeking a Cable Technician with 2+ years of experience to join their dedicated team. What You’ll Do

+ Install and maintain structured cabling systems (Cat6, voice, data).

+ Build cable pathways using j-hooks and cable trays.

+ Perform punchdowns and ensure clean, organized installations.

+ Work on commercial construction sites across Nashville.

+ Interface professionally with customers while onsite.

+ Meet at TSU and travel to job sites as needed (minimal travel).

Must-Have Skills

• 2+ years of experience in cable installation or low voltage systems

• Experience with j-hooks, cable trays, and structured cabling

• Own basic cabling tools and full PPE (steel-toed boots, jeans, safety gear)

• Strong communication and customer service skills

Nice-to-Have Skills

+ Rack and stack experience

+ Troubleshooting skills

+ Familiarity with wireless access points, access control, or CCTV

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Pegram, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
