As the Associate Executive Director, you will play a pivotal role in individuals' lives, making a significant impact through:
+ Assists the Executive Director in sharing a clear vision for the agency that is aligned with the mission and vision for Catholic Charities and the Diocese of Albany;
+ Works with the Executive Director and Catholic Charities Executive Office & Support Services to assist in the preparation of the agency budget, financial plans and additional fiscal and other reports as required;
+ Adheres to CQI and CC standards and expectations and responds to directives of the CQI Department;
+ Assists in organizing resources (human, physical and fiscal) for effective and efficient operation of the agency;
+ Advocates through local and regional committees, coalitions and associations for the needs of persons living within the responsibility of the agency, and encourages and supports the agency staff in these same efforts;
+ Ensures that programs are reflective of and consistent with Catholic Charities mission, and integrates mission into the entire spectrum of agency administration and services.
Associate Executive Director Minimum Salary: $82,500/year
Associate Executive Director Maximum Salary: $82,500/year
Associate Executive Director Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm (37.5 hours/week)
*Subject-to-call shifts required*
Qualifications:
+ High School Diploma or GED
+ Experience will be accepted in lieu of education
+ VALID Driver's license proof of current car insurance and registration and access to a reliable, working vehicle
+ Department Specific Skills:
+ Familiarity with and sensitivity to specialized needs of people with HIV, of people with substance abuse and mental health issues, of people of color, of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender individuals.
+ Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds within client and staff populations of Chronic illnesses and ability to support staff with appropriate information.
+ Familiarity with the cycle of poverty and working with families experiencing poverty.
+ Familiarity with and ability to access community resources and services.
+ Attention to detail.
+ Ability to provide and instruct others in providing strengths -based, client-centered, proactive case management.
+ Ability to interact with people from diverse background and provide an atmosphere of trust, mutual respect and caring.
