    Job Description

    Under general supervision of senior members of the team, provides DevOps engineering expertise for KeyBank's cloud and hybrid computing environment. Interfaces with vendors, as well as other KeyBank Technology & Operations teams to provide a seamless and reliable CI/CD and infrastructure automation experience. Acts as technical lead DevOps engineer on small to medium projects and assists with large projects. May coach junior technical staff. Development and enforcement of technology standards and assist with white papers and/or presentations. Provide analysis, design, engineering, and consulting for DevOps tools and pipelines used within KeyBank's environment. Responsible for research and analysis necessary to provide capacity and performance levels required to support business initiatives, as they pertain to KeyBank systems. Works on problems of diverse scope, where analysis of situation requires evaluation and judgment.

    Job Functions

    + Under general supervision of senior members of the team, provides DevOps engineering expertise for KeyBank's cloud and hybrid computing environment.

    + Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Terraform, and ARM templates.

    + Interface with other Key Technology & Operations teams to maintain and support the environment.

    + Assist with testing and deployment of cloud-native and hybrid applications.

    + Project lead role on small projects and medium size projects. Assist with large and, sometimes, enterprise-wide projects.

    + Begin to employ diagnostic methods and analytical skills to solve problems with effective solutions from a variety of sources.

    + Demonstrate aptitude and interest in technical skills by implementing tactical solutions with supervision.

    + Deep knowledge of Azure services, DevOps practices, and cloud computing concepts.

    + Display composure during demanding situations in addition to day-to-day activities.

    + Effective communicator in individual and group settings (verbal and written).

    + Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal clients.

    + Escalate issues and problems to senior team members and management as required.

    + Expertise in ITIL concepts.

    + Hands-on experience with the following:

    + Azure, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 infrastructure and components.

    + Azure DevOps Services (Repos, Pipelines, Boards, Artifacts)

    + Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates)

    + Source control systems (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket)

    + Personal Computing and Mobile Hardware (HP, Lenovo, Dell, Apple, Samsung)

    + End User Computing Operating Systems (Microsoft Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, Chrome OS)

    + Browsers and web-based technologies (Edge, Chrome, Safari)

    + Endpoint and Data Center Virtual Machine Experience (Hyper-V, VMWare ESXi, VMWare WorkStation or Fusion)

    + Wireless Technologies in Mobile devices (LTE, GSM, Bluetooth, Wifi)

    + Presentation Virtualization Support (Citrix XenDesktop, VMWare Horizon)

    + Maintaining Secure Systems (Jamf Protect, Symantec Endpoint Protection, System Center Endpoint Protection, Carbon Black, Zscaler SSL Decryption, ForcePoint DLP)

    + Systems troubleshooting (Microsoft DART)

    + Endpoint Configuration Management (MECM, SCCM, JAMF, Intune)

    + Active Directory and Group Policy as well as Intune policies

    + Microsoft Office Suite and productivity tools (Office 365)

    + Application Virtualization (Citrix XenApp, VMWare ThinApp, App-V)

    + Scripting Experience (PowerShell, VBScript, BASH, CMD)

    + Application Packaging (InstallShield, JAMF Composer, Jamf Pro)

    + Monitoring and logging tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights)

    + Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS)

    Required Qualifications

    + 3+ years technical experience in DevOps or cloud engineering

    + 4 Year degree or equivalent experience desired

    + Time management; tracking and reporting

    + Ability to translate technical concepts through communication and documentation to individuals working in administrative and governance roles within KeyBank

    COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

    This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $61,000.00 - $94,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
