Description We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Fairlawn, New Jersey. This Contract-to-Permanent position is ideal for a candidate skilled in managing financial records and ensuring accurate bookkeeping processes. The role requires expertise in QuickBooks, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update financial records with accuracy and attention to detail.

• Utilize QuickBooks to manage and track all financial transactions.

• Handle accounts payable processes, including verifying invoices and processing payments.

• Oversee accounts receivable tasks, such as generating invoices and tracking payments.

• Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.

• Prepare financial reports and summaries to support decision-making.

• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

• Collaborate with team members to address discrepancies and resolve issues.

• Monitor cash flow and provide recommendations for improving financial efficiency. Requirements • Proven experience in bookkeeping or a related financial role.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks software is mandatory.

• Solid understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Strong ability to perform accurate bank reconciliations.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to prepare and analyze financial reports.

• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration.

• Familiarity with financial compliance and regulations.
