Description We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Ecommerce Copywriter to craft compelling product descriptions, website copy, and marketing content that engages customers and drives online sales. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ecommerce platforms, SEO best practices, and consumer behavior, with the ability to deliver persuasive, click-worthy writing that aligns with brand tone and voice. Write clear, concise, and engaging product descriptions, headlines, and content for ecommerce platforms. Optimize content using SEO principles to maximize web traffic and improve search engine rankings. Collaborate with product, marketing, and design teams to align content with branding and sales strategies. Conduct research on product features, industry best practices, and competitors to create accurate and appealing copy. Develop A/B test copy options and use data insights to optimize messaging for ecommerce campaigns. Provide creative, customer-focused copy for email marketing, landing pages, social media ads, and promotional campaigns. Ensure copy is free of errors, follows company style guidelines, and appeals to the target audience. Stay up-to-date on the latest ecommerce trends and recommend content strategies to improve performance. Requirements 1–3+ years of detail oriented copywriting experience, preferably in ecommerce or retail. Proven track record of writing product descriptions, sales content, and other ecommerce-focused material. Strong understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) and keyword-driven content. Familiarity with ecommerce platforms like Shopify, Magento, or BigCommerce. Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Knowledge of online consumer behavior and trends in digital marketing.
