    Job Title: Paralegal – Collections Litigation

    About the Role:

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal to join our legal team, supporting collections litigation and related legal processes. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, legal knowledge, and a passion for resolving disputes efficiently.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Draft and file legal documents including complaints, motions, and discovery requests.

    + Assist attorneys with case preparation and management for collections litigation.

    + Review and organize evidence, contracts, and financial records.

    + Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., Finance, Customer Service) to gather documentation.

    + Monitor case deadlines and maintain accurate case tracking systems.

    + Communicate with courts, opposing counsel, and external partners.

    + Support judgment enforcement and post-litigation recovery efforts.

    Qualifications:

    + Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies or related field.

    + Paralegal certification preferred (e.g., NALA, NFPA).

    + 2+ years of experience in collections, litigation, or civil procedure.

    + Familiarity with legal research tools and case management software.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    + Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

    Preferred Skills:

    + Experience in commercial collections or creditor rights.

    + Knowledge of FDCPA, state collection laws, and bankruptcy procedures.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal document management systems.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $83200.00/yr.
