    As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payment processing. You will be responsible for reviewing and processing vendor invoices, maintaining records, and assisting with month-end closing and reporting.

    Responsibilities

    + Review and process vendor invoices for payment.

    + Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, receiving reports, and invoices to ensure accuracy and prevent overpayments.

    + Resolve discrepancies between invoices and purchase orders or receiving documents.

    + Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.

    + Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve invoice or payment issues.

    + Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.

    + Assist with month-end closing and reporting.

    + Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficient in accounts payable and invoice processing.

    + Experience with three-way matching: receipt, invoice, and purchase order.

    + Strong ability to manage accounts payable/receivable.

     

    Work Environment

     

    This position requires on-site work five days a week.

    Job Type & Location

    This is a Contract position based out of St. Augustine, FL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
