• Accounting Consultant- Atlanta (Onsite)

    RGP is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to support our clients in the Atlanta area with critical accounting functions. This consultant will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, supporting audit and compliance initiatives, and driving efficient month-end close, consolidation, and financial reporting processes. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience across diverse industries, and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

     

    + Lead and execute month-end close processes, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses

    + Manage and analyze accrued liabilities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with GAAP

    + Support and perform consolidation activities, including intercompany eliminations and preparing consolidated financial statements

    + Prepare and analyze financial results to ensure accuracy, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to management

    + Collaborate cross-functionally in a hybrid work environment to resolve discrepancies, align consolidation data, and enhance reporting efficiency

    + Utilize advanced Excel functions and reporting tools to streamline financial consolidation and data analysis

    + Ensure adherence to GAAP, internal controls, and company accounting policies

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred)

    + 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within corporate or consulting environments

    + Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, OneStream, Workiva, or Workday preferred

    + Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities

    + Excellent communication skills and a consultative, solution-oriented mindset

    + Variety of workplace arrangements including hybrid, remote, onsite.
