About the role

As a **QA Test Engineer – Dialysis Systems** , you will make an impact by ensuring the quality and reliability of dialysis machines and related hardware/software systems through rigorous testing and validation. You will be a valued member of the Quality Assurance team and work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders including hardware engineers, software developers, and clinical operations.

In this role, you will:

• Perform functional and regression testing on dialysis machines (5008X, 2008T) in the QA lab.

• Conduct CSD Manager testing on dialysis machines.

• Test physical mobile devices such as Provider Hub and Patient Hub.

• Execute hardware installation and configuration on dialysis machines.

• Use scanners and fax machines to validate OnBase application functionality.

• Install and configure desktops and laptops in the QA lab.

• Test Lubuntu OS installation on Windows desktops using USB drives.

• Validate Chairside functionality with YubiKeys on dialysis machines.

• Test Windows images on physical laptops and desktops.

What you need to have to be considered:

• Hands-on experience with 2008T / 5008X dialysis machine testing.

• Strong understanding of QA testing methodologies and practices.

• Familiarity with Agile development processes.

• Experience using TestRail or similar test management tools.

• Proficiency in Linux command-line operations.

• Knowledge of machine build processes, image deployment, and patch testing.

These will help you stand out:

• Experience with Lubuntu OS and USB-based installations.

• Familiarity with OnBase application testing using physical devices.

• Understanding of YubiKey integration and security testing.

• Ability to troubleshoot and configure hardware in a lab environment.

• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Salary and Other Compensation

Applications will be accepted until November 7th, 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $53,477 to $92,500, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
