    Job Summary

    • As a Senior. AWS Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing cutting-edge solutions within the Utilities domain. With a focus on AWS technologies and Python frameworks, you will ensure robust and scalable architecture. Your expertise will drive innovation and efficiency, contributing to the company’s mission of delivering sustainable energy solutions.

    Responsibilities

    • Design and implement scalable architecture solutions using AWS technologies such as Aurora, AWS CloudWatch, and AWS Step Functions.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Confluent Kafka and Terraform into existing systems for enhanced data processing.

    • Develop and maintain Python web applications, leveraging Python3 and relevant frameworks to ensure high performance and reliability.

    • Utilize GITHUB and Github Actions to streamline development workflows and ensure seamless code integration and deployment.

    • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues using AWS CloudWatch, ensuring optimal system uptime and reliability.

    • Lead the migration and optimization of databases to Amazon Aurora and PostgreSQL, enhancing data accessibility and security.

    • Implement AWS Lambda functions to automate processes and improve system efficiency, reducing manual intervention.

    • Oversee the deployment and management of infrastructure using Concourse, ensuring consistent and reliable delivery of services.

    • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

    • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions.

    • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices, maintaining the integrity and security of all systems and data.

    • Drive innovation by exploring new technologies and methodologies, contributing to the company’s competitive edge in the Utilities sector.

    • Support the hybrid work model by effectively communicating and collaborating with remote and on-site team members.

    Salary and Other Compensation:

    • The annual salary for this position is between $138,000 to $162,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

    • This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
