Job Description
The Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Division of State-Operated Specialty Care, Bureau of Woodward Resource Center (WRC) is seeking a Treatment Program Supervisor to join our team. This is a full-time position with a non-fixed, variable schedule and some travel required.
What You'll Do:
As a Treatment Program Supervisor, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our team is equipped with the knowledge and skills to deliver exceptional care and support. Your responsibilities will include:
+ Program Development: Develop, write, and implement services and supports as determined by Case Management’s Individual Comprehensive Plan within an integrated, interdisciplinary team process to provide adequate, appropriate, and timely supports, interventions, strategies, and assessments that effectively address an individual’s needs.
+ Performance Coaching: Ensure staff receive competency-based training on member Comprehensive Plans, programs and supports, medications, treatments, and general job expectations.
+ Ethical Conduct:Uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct and integrity in all aspects of your work, serving as a role model for our team members.
+ Initiative and Commitment: Organize and direct daily business so that services operate in the most effective and efficient manner. Staff assignments will be made according to members/family needs.
+ Team Collaboration: Maintain close contact with their staff to measure and improve quality of services, implement quality initiatives in their respective area, and assess outcomes and the efficacy of quality efforts.
Key Competencies:
Successful candidates for this position will demonstrate the following competencies:
+ Knowledge: Understand community service organizations and how their resources may be coordinated with the needs of the institution.
+ Assessment and Implementation: Read, understand, and implement detailed written and/or oral instructions, policies, methods, and procedures.
+ Relationship Building: Work as liaison between parents, guardians, families, Case Mangers, and the IDT. Build, foster, and maintain partnerships at a variety of levels.
+ Instructional Design: Teach, instruct, and lead in the implementation of various therapeutic procedures and practices.

Minimum Qualification Requirements
Graduation from an accredited college or university and experience equal to eighteen months of full-time, professional employment* working with the intellectually disabled, mentally ill, elderly, physically ill, persons with a disability, delinquents, or civilly or criminally adjudicated adults;
OR
experience providing care and treatment or security for patients or inmates may be substituted for the education and experience in the above clause at the rate of twelve months of full-time experience for 30 semester hours of education with a maximum total substitution of five and one-half years.

Additional Qualification Requirements
Designated positions in this job class require applicants to obtain the required Commercial Drivers License and endorsements within a period of time as determined by the appointing authority at the time of hire.
* For purposes of qualifying, "professional employment" shall be exemplified by having responsibility for assessment and diagnosis of client problems and needs, developing a plan of treatment, evaluating client progress toward meeting treatment goals, modifying treatment objectives, etc. Work at this level usually requires a prerequisite four or more years of post high school educational training in the behavioral, social, or health sciences. Examples of experience at this level includes but is not limited to Social Worker, Registered Nurse, and Occupational Therapist
