We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead with API Automation (Python) with a strong background in Telecom OSS/BSS domains. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in API automation, Python scripting, database testing, and system integration testing, along with hands-on experience in tools like GitHub, Kibana, and Kafka. This role involves leading an offshore QA team and managing multiple stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables across complex telecom systems.

Your role

+ Lead QA efforts for Telecom OSS/BSS projects, ensuring robust test coverage and quality assurance.

+ Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for API automation, system integration, and database validation.

+ Utilize Python for developing automation scripts and frameworks.

+ Monitor and analyze Kibana logs and Kafka topics to ensure system performance and stability.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and business analysts to ensure seamless integration and delivery.

+ Provide technical leadership and mentorship to offshore QA teams, ensuring best practices and continuous improvement.

+ Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to align on testing strategies, timelines, and deliverables.

+ Manage and maintain test environments, ensuring proper configuration and readiness.

+ Use GitHub for version control and collaborative development of test scripts.

+ Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools, ensuring timely resolution.

+ Prepare and present detailed test reports, metrics, and status updates to stakeholders.

+ Integrate and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.

+ Implement BDD (Behavior Driven Development) using Gherkin language and tools like Cucumber or Behave.

+ Leverage Copilot Behave for intelligent test automation and script generation.

Your skills and experience

+ Proven experience in SIT (System Integration Testing) and quality engineering within the Telecom OSS/BSS domain.

+ Strong expertise in API automation and Python scripting.

+ Proficient in SQL and database testing.

+ Experience with system integration testing and managing complex test environments.

+ Familiarity with GitHub, Jenkins, Kibana, and Kafka.

+ Demonstrated ability to lead offshore teams and manage cross-functional collaboration.

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

+ Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

+ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
