The Manager of System Quality, Regulatory & Safety provides leadership and oversight for quality, compliance, and safety across CentraCare’s laboratory services. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring laboratory quality programs, regulatory compliance, inspection readiness, patient safety initiatives, and system-wide policy and procedure management. The incumbent ensures that all CentraCare laboratories meet or exceed federal, state, and accrediting agency standards, including CLIA, CAP, Joint Commission, COLA, CMS, OSHA, and related requirements.

Working in close partnership with the Senior Director of Laboratory Services, Regional Directors, Laboratory Managers, and medical leadership, the Manager standardizes policies and procedures, advances quality improvement initiatives, and drives a culture of safety and accountability across all laboratory sites. The role also collaborates with safety officers, regulatory agencies, and clinical partners to ensure safe, compliant, and patient-centered diagnostic practices.

By applying high reliability methods, continuous improvement principles, and proactive risk management, the Manager strengthens CentraCare’s ability to deliver laboratory services that are accurate, safe, reliable, and trusted by patients, providers, and community partners. The incumbent demonstrates CentraCare’s mission, vision, and values in daily work, ensuring that laboratory quality and safety efforts align with organizational goals and support exceptional care for patients of all ages.

Some travel required to various labs throughout system.

Schedule

+ Full-time | 80 hours per two weeks | Onsite

+ Days | Monday-Friday | Typical hours 8am-4:30pm with flexibility as needed.

Pay and Benefits

+ Starting pay begins at $87,208.98 per year and increases with experience

+ Salary range: $87,208.98- $130,890.14 per year

+ Salary range is based on a 1.0 FTE, reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate

Qualifications

+ Bachelor of Science or Arts Degree in Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science or related Life Science.

+ ASCP certified within 6 months with first exam completed within 3 months of hire, with certification verified within six weeks of exam.

+ 5 years' experience as a Laboratory Manager, Laboratory Supervisor or Clinical Laboratory Scientist

+ A valid Minnesota driver’s license, a driving record in good standing, and the minimum amount of insurance liability coverage may be required.
