The Walt Disney Studios’ Business Platforms and Services team is seeking a Product Owner. On our team, you will be responsible for acting as the liaison between our business partners and Studio Technology team. You will become the subject matter expert for applications you are working on and recommend solutions to ensure business needs are met. This Product Owner will leverage their strong background & affinity for product

ownership, stakeholder management, business analysis, and development to successfully manage products and create a lasting impact.

The Role:

The Product Owner will lead the development and management of global marketing technology platforms that support Studio Marketing stakeholders. Key products include platforms for campaign management, trailer planning, and promotions approval. Requires close collaboration with marketing teams to understand their needs and deliver scalable, user-centric solutions. Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships is critical to success in this role, ensuring alignment, trust, and continuous improvement across all platforms.

• Serve as the Product lead and subject matter expert for the Marketing Solutions platforms.

• Lead the product vision and translate it into actionable roadmaps, milestones, features, and a backlog of user stories

• Write clear, actionable user stories, lead refinement sessions with project management, and maintain a well-organized and prioritized product backlog

• Provide well-structured product documentation that enables the team to confidently and efficiently build new features

• Collaborate closely with a cross-functional team - including engineering, design, and data teams - to define features, drive continuous progress, and deliver high- impact results aligned with product goals

• Facilitate requirement gathering sessions to deeply understand business processes and user needs

• Serve as the voice of the customer in meetings, ensuring that our solutions are rooted in user needs and reflect a strong understanding of user priorities

• Bring a unique perspective to products and push our teams and stakeholders to push boundaries and innovate, balancing trade-offs and needs

• Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders and become an expert on their goals, workflows, and pain points

• An ability to drive complex and high-profile projects without overextending personal health or well-being of your team

5. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent or equivalent practical experience

• Minimum of 3 years product management experience with a proven record of successfully launching products or features

• Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex requirements into clear user stories, PRDs, and additional documentation

• Experience leveraging data and analytics to inform product decisions and track success metrics

• Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Proactive self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and takes initiative to drive outcomes independently

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a collaborative work ethic

• Experience working with cross-functional teams across the full product lifecycle

• Familiarity with agile methodologies and product management best practices

• Experience with mar-tech (marketing technology) product management
