    Job Description

    Insight Global is searching for a Program Manager for Electrical and Instrumentation upgrades for a large oil refinery client Utah. This position will be an onsite/hybrid role in North Salt Lake, UT.

     

    Our client is undergoing a transformation of their outdated electrical refinery equipment and needs a program manager to both architect and roadmap out the process of what that upgrade will look like. They will be upgrading both their electrical and instrumentation equipment, however this role will be more focused on the electrical side. You will be working closely with the director of capital projects as well as the capital projects lead to ensure this upgrade happens without disruption to the refinery systems. This is planned to be a 10 year program upgrade involving a full team of PMs that this role will have oversight on. You will manage and direct multiple projects that ensure the electrical and instrumentation reliability program.

     

    Pay ranges $170,000-$200,000/year

    Skills and Requirements

     

    -Engineering Degree – Electrical/Mechanical Preferred

     

    -Need to have managed multiple projects or a whole electrical upgrade program in the past in a supervisory role

     

    -Previous experience with oversite over a team of Project Managers in the electrical space

     

    -8+ Years of experience in a program/project management role within either a refinery, chemical plant or power plant environment (industrial environment)

     

    -3-5 years of experience in an oversight/supervisory project role -Experience with any of the following project management software

     

    -P6, MS Projects, Cora

     

    -Specific experience doing electrical and instrumentation upgrades from old electrical equipment to more modern systems in a refinery environment
