Cybersecurity Analyst
Role Definition:
Caterpillar’s Cybersecurity Team is seeking an IT Analyst to join our Caterpillar IT Cybersecurity Team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to deploy, manage, and support products and tools that protect Caterpillar resources from cybersecurity threats. You will be part of a dynamic team, working and interacting with other groups such as Cybersecurity and Caterpillar IT.
This role provides operational support for Caterpillar’s Secure Mobile Device (SMD) solution, including direct assistance to senior leaders. The incumbent communicates regularly with program users and senior leadership about secure device use.
What You Will Do:
+ Interacting with users as part of the secure mobile device program
+ Deliver premium “white glove” support to senior leaders.
+ Oversee the enhancement and optimization of operational processes.
+ Address and direct user and program-related questions.
+ Oversee shipping processes, including administering shipping partnerships.
+ Management and escalation of device returns
+ Provide end user support, including troubleshooting device and user escalations.
+ Monitor industry trends for continual solution improvement and expansion.
What You Have:
Consulting:
+ Knowledge of techniques, roles, and responsibilities in providing technical or business guidance to clients, both internal and external; ability to apply consulting knowledge appropriately.
Cybersecurity Standards and Policies:
+ Knowledge of developing cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures; ability to develop and communicate policies, standards and procedures that guide interactions with customers.
Cybersecurity Risk Management:
+ Knowledge of tools, techniques, approaches, and processes of cybersecurity risk management; ability to ensure organizational network operation and minimize negative effect by cybersecurity risks.
Information Security Management:
+ Knowledge of the processes, tools, and techniques of information security management; ability to deploy and monitor information security systems, while detecting, controlling, and preventing violations of IT security.
Information Technology (IT) Security Policies:
+ Knowledge of IT security policies, standards, and procedures; ability to utilize a variety of administrative skill sets and technical knowledge to ensure cyber security compliance.
Requirements Analysis:
+ Knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project.
**Education / Experience:** Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
Top Candidates will also have:
+ IT-related customer support experience in a break/fix environment.
+ A high degree of initiative, accountability along with an ability to efficiently apply IT and cybersecurity solutions to solve business problems.
+ Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
+ Detail oriented and well organized.
+ A willingness to take ownership of problems and drive them to resolution in a timely manner.
+ Able to clearly explain technical setups and architectures to non-technical staff and leadership.
+ Ability to discern and prioritize enterprise interests against business and cybersecurity risk.
+ A respect for organizational change processes and communication.
+ Experience with iOS and iPad OS configuration and support.
+ General understanding of business operations and IT/Technology processes
+ Adaptability to work in a varied, fast-paced, ever-changing global environment.
+ Ability to participate in 24x7 On-Call rotations.
+ Team player – able to communicate, collaborate, and work effectively in a regionally distributed team.

+ The primary location for this position is Irving, TX, Peoria, IL or Nashville, TN.
+ Domestic relocation assistance is available for those who qualify.
+ Sponsorship is **NOT** available.
+ Up to 5% travel is required.

Summary Pay Range:
$95,640.00 - $155,400.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
