    What you'll do...

     

    **Role summary:** The Manager, Real Estate Procurement, leads strategic procurement initiatives supporting facility development through comprehensive financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. This role drives supplier development by establishing performance metrics and process improvements while managing key relationships with internal and external partners. The position requires collaboration across functions to optimize operational efficiency and capacity utilization, delivering innovative solutions aligned with business objectives. The manager also communicates financial and operational results to senior leadership, fosters team development, and ensures compliance with company policies, contributing to Walmart’s commitment to operational excellence and sustainable growth.

    **About the team:** The team ensures timely and complete delivery of fixtures for stores undergoing real estate projects, including remodels, special projects, new stores, or expansions, prior to grand openings. They manage supplier development, strategic procurement, and stakeholder engagement to support facility development initiatives. By analyzing financial impacts and coordinating cross-functional efforts, the team drives operational excellence and process improvements. They maintain strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to meet business objectives and uphold high standards of integrity and performance, contributing to the successful execution of real estate procurement strategies.

    What you'll do:

    + Develop and execute real estate procurement strategies to optimize financial and operational outcomes.

    + Conduct budgeting, forecasting, and financial analyses to support facility development initiatives.

    + Lead supplier development programs by establishing performance metrics and driving accountability.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional partners to design innovative solutions for real estate management challenges.

    + Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, communicating goals and performance results.

    + Oversee team development through mentoring, training, and performance management.

    + Ensure compliance with company policies while promoting continuous improvement and operational excellence.

    + Develop demand plans for select warehouse sites – Leveraging available data & connecting flat files.

    + Identify orders that need to be place without reliance on system output.

    + Manage new product integration & warehouse spatial constraints / Consolidate existing workstreams into physical enterprise solutions.

    + Manage capacity differences and developing mitigation plans including communicating highs and lows driving IMSC labor planning.

    What you'll bring:

    + Proven experience in real estate procurement, supplier development, and strategic procurement within complex operational environments.

    + Strong financial analysis skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and evaluating the financial impact of real estate initiatives.

    + Ability to develop and execute procurement strategies that optimize labor and facility capacity utilization.

    + Demonstrated success in managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership engagement.

    + Expertise in process improvement, data-driven decision making, and performance measurement for supplier accountability.

    + Effective communication skills to present financial and operational results.

    + Leadership experience in mentoring, coaching, and developing team members to achieve business objectives.

    The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
