    PPM Coordinator

     

    Job Purpose

     

    The PPM Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting and coordinating all periodic preventive maintenance (PPM) activities, ensuring smooth operations and alignment with the unit’s maintenance strategy for optimal equipment reliability and performance.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Oversee and manage all periodic preventive maintenance (PPM) tasks for existing and new equipment, utilizing input from discipline experts, data models, and historical trends to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.

    + Continuously review and refine PPM plans, resources, and schedules to enhance efficiency and optimize results within the maintenance program.

    + Maintain and update the PPM documentation and filing system within SAP, including records for new equipment installations, spare parts lists, service schedules, and related documentation, ensuring accessibility and completeness for timely action and record keeping.

    + Monitor and track the PPM program, proactively addressing any overdue maintenance plans to ensure adherence to schedules.

    + Serve as a subject matter expert during root cause analyses, collaborating with relevant teams when PPM activities may contribute to equipment issues or failures.

    + Identify opportunities to adjust maintenance intervals in collaboration with the Maintenance group and Leadership, analyzing the impact and compliance with operational procedures and regulatory requirements.

    + Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing best practices in maintenance processes and systems, with a focus on cost reduction, productivity gains, and business process enhancements.

    + Uphold all health, safety, security, and environmental policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and fostering a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.

     

    Qualifications, Skills & Experience

     

    + Diploma or trade certification required

    + Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a maintenance or industrial environment

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and MS Office applications

    + Hands-on experience with SAP maintenance modules

    + Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

    + Proven track record in problem-solving, time management, and collaborative teamwork
