    As a Yield Enhancement Electrical Failure Analysis Engineer at Micron, you will perform Electrical Failure Analysis (EFA) investigative characterization work for defect issues identified by YE and Fab customers. Monitors recently probed material and categorizes dead die into known defect issue categories and investigates new or unknown defect issues. Prioritizes work following YE’s Queue.

    Responsibilities and Tasks

    + Monitors probed material and performs manual yield accounting using defect references

    + Conducts intricate data analysis on emerging issues, summarizes outcomes, and shares insights with relevant customers

    + Mentors and assists FA technicians with yield investigations and complex FA testing and techniques

    + Able to perform electrical and failure analysis defined by area skill guidelines

    + Performs advanced data analysis to support failure analysis results in pursuit of root cause

    + Summarizes investigation findings into a single report, including the potential root case

    + Able to efficiently operate all lab equipment while adhering to defined safety guidelines

    + Understands equipment operation and can perform all required tasks and basic troubleshooting of uM3 – Micromate, Merlin/Raptor tester platform, Emission tools, MPI Probe Stations, and Nanoprobe tools

    + Completes and maintains all required training certifications

    + Maintains technical knowledge of device structure and function for current and future parts

    Minimum Requirements

    + Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, materials science, chemical engineering

    + 3-5 years direct semiconductor industry experience

    + Test/Product engineering experience

    + Emission Tooling experience

    Preferred Requirements

    + Masters Degree in electrical engineer, computer science, material science or chemical engineering

    + DRAM Device Knowledge/Experience

    + Electrical Failure Analysis
