Position Overview:
We are looking for a proactive Scrum Master to support and enable our Customer & User Experience (CUE) team in delivering high-impact digital initiatives across internal and external user journeys. This role is focused on driving agile practices and team-level delivery excellence across both Customer Success and UX teams.
As the Scrum Master, you will lead agile ceremonies, coach team members on various agile principles, drive agile practices, remove delivery roadblocks, and foster continuous improvement across multidisciplinary teams. You’ll work closely with product owners and stakeholders to ensure work is delivered with quality, clarity, and alignment to end-user needs and strategic priorities. You will foster continuous improvement within your teams and facilitate effective collaboration between Customer Success and UX disciplines.
What You Will Do:
+ Lead regular agile ceremonies for 2 cross-functional teams , including stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
+ Coach teams on agile principles and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe), ensuring the team follows Agile principles and processes. Partner with Customer & User Experience leadership to ensure that priorities and work is aligned with big-picture priorities.
+ Proactively identify and remove blockers that hinder team progress, collaborating across departments to resolve issues quickly.
+ Partner closely with Product Owners to support backlog refinement and prioritization, helping ensuring clarity and alignment with team capacity and CUE / Infrastructure goals.
+ Track task performance, velocity, and team health metrics to drive continuous improvement and delivery predictability. Also support management and communication of the organization’s value and delivery to leadership.
+ Identify opportunities for process improvements at the team level and pilot new approaches to enhance team effectiveness and agility.
+ Support the vision and roadmap for Customer and User Engagement across the ESI organization. Also ensure that CS and UX product owners are aligning work and priorities to big picture values.
+ Assist in translating business goals and user feedback into actionable work items (e.g. initiatives, features, tasks) that guide execution and deliver measurable outcomes.
+ Collaborate with the Product Owner and stakeholders to maintain visibility into progress and help surface risks or blockers.
Qualifications You Must Have:
+ Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
+ 5+ years of experience in agile project delivery, with at least 2+ years as a Scrum Master
Qualifications We Prefer:
+ Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent Agile certification
+ Strong understanding of agile methodologies and principles (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or similar) and experience using Agile tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence)
+ Experience supporting product- or application-based team
+ Familiarity working within User Experience, Product Marketing, or Customer Success disciplines
+ Experience working in Infrastructure or Digital Technology teams
+ Experience in defense, aerospace, or other regulated industries
+ Familiarity with digital workplace platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, SharePoint, ServiceNow)
+ Experience working with UX design, customer journey mapping, or human-centered design practices
+ Project Management certification (CAPM, PMP) is a plus.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
