LSI Staffing is seeking an entry level or experienced BINDERY ASSOCIATE for their 3rd Shift client in Dallas/Farmers Branch Texas. The successful candidate will have the following:

A bindery worker, also known as a bindery operator, uses machines and manual techniques to bind printed materials like books and magazines. They may also perform shipping tasks.

Responsibilities

+ **Maintenance** : Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on bindery machines and equipment

+ **Training** : Provide training and guidance to bindery assistants and trainees

+ **Safety** : Observe and promote safety standards

+ **Inventory** : Maintain inventory of supplies and materials

+ **Collaboration** : Work with production teams to prioritize jobs and meet schedules

+ **Machine operation** : Set up, operate, and maintain bindery machines that cut, fold, glue, trim, and bind

+ **Quality control** : Inspect products for defects like loose pages, torn pages, or imperfect bindings

+ **Shipping** : Box, shrink-wrap, and prepare orders for shipping

Qualifications

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ Experience in bindery and finish work

+ Physical ability to lift heavy loads and stand for long periods

+ Strong mechanical skills and manual dexterity

+ Keen attention to detail

+ Ability to work as part of a team
