Job Summary and Qualifications

Lead Radiology Technologist

As a Lead Radiologic Technologist at HCA Healthcare, you’ll play an imperative role in guiding a team that delivers safe, accurate, and patient-centered imaging every day. You’ll mentor technologists, optimize workflows, and ensure the team has the tools and support to perform with confidence. Lead Radiology Technologist tasks and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

+ Obtain high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images

+ Assist in administration of contrast media in accordance with departmental policy and procedure

+ Prepare and position patients and equipment in a caring and safe manner

+ Ensure all equipment and supplies utilized during procedures are maintained and in ready condition

+ Communicate proactively and effectively with patient and radiologist regarding any findings patient histories and test results as appropriate

+ Collaborate and confer with all caregiver colleagues and members of the healthcare team

Qualifications

+ Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program at an AMA-approved educational institution

+ Associate Degree

+ Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)

+ Valid ARRT (R) required

+ Three (3) to five (5) years technical experience with extensive knowledge of equipment, accessories and procedures

+ Additional certifications and Lead experience preferred

+ Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
