    PROJECT OVERVIEW:

    We are seeking an experienced AutoCAD Specialist to develop comprehensive, as-built factory layout drawings for our battery pack manufacturing facility. The primary objective of this short-term contract is to create accurate, detailed floor plans and equipment layouts that will serve as the master reference for the Manufacturing Engineering team"s ongoing facility management and planning activities.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    * Conduct a complete on-site survey of the commercial vehicle battery pack manufacturing plant to capture all relevant dimensions and details.

    * Develop professional AutoCAD drawings that accurately reflect current factory conditions, including equipment footprints, utility connections, safety zones, and support infrastructure.

    * Create layered AutoCAD files incorporating equipment, utilities, building structures, and material handling systems.

    * Develop standardized title blocks, revision histories, legends, and symbol libraries for consistency with internal documentation standards.

    * Produce final AutoCAD files in the latest compatible software format, along with PDF copies for reference and review.

    * Collaborate closely with Operations and Manufacturing Engineering teams to validate drawing accuracy and incorporate feedback throughout the project.

    * Ensure drawings are structured to enable internal engineers to make future updates easily as equipment is relocated, added, or removed.

    * Maintain strict adherence to on-site safety protocols and facility access procedures during all measurement and survey activities.

    KEY DELIVERABLES:

    * Complete AutoCAD drawing package with standardized layer structures and title blocks.

    * Equipment specification tables with revision tracking.

    * PDF copies of final layouts for reference.

    * Comprehensive legend and symbol library to ensure consistency in future documentation.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    * Proven experience developing factory or industrial facility layouts in AutoCAD, preferably within automotive or high-volume manufacturing environments.

    * Strong understanding of manufacturing equipment documentation, material flow principles, and CAD best practices for maintainable technical drawings.

    * Ability to work independently on-site to gather physical measurements and technical details.

    * Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, professional-quality documentation.

    * Familiarity with facility safety protocols and compliance standards for manufacturing environments.
